Beckman Coulter Avanti J-E Centrifuge

Biotek Synergy H1 Microplate Reader


The Synergy H1 Microplate Reader in Room 332 is for fluorescence, absorbance and luminescence measurements and was designed with an emphasis on superior performance in all detection methods.

QuantStudio Digital Droplet PCR


Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) utilizes Taq polymerase in a standard PCR reaction to amplify target. DNA fragment from a complex sample using pre-validated primer or primer/probe assays. This technology distributes the PCR reaction into 20,000 wells and acquires data at the end of the reaction. These factors offer the advantage of direct and independent quantification of DNA without standard curves. In addition, end-point measurement enables nucleic acid quantitation independently of the reaction efficiency, resulting in a positive-negative call for every droplet and greater amenability. DDPCR technology can be used for extremely low-target quantitation.

QuantStudio6 Flex qPCR


Real-time PCR instrument used for Quantitative study of gene expression, genotyping, SNP analysis, pathogen detection and measuring RNA interference.
