The Omics Hub is a ThermoFisher Scientific Supply Center. We can keep kits and reagents at a reduced cost and in stock that are available for purchase and pick up on demand. Liquid Nitrogen
Liquid nitrogen (LN) tanks are available for users to dispense LN into their own containers. Users will be charged a per liter cost. Safety first, please do not dispense LN if you are not trained. When you dispense LN, please fill out the liquid nitrogen log on the Omics Hub Sharepoint site; a QR code to the form is also available next to the tanks. If you finish a tank or start a new tank, please include this information in the comments section on the form. Contact or see Taylor in PBB 308/ANR 363 if you need assistance.
Eurofins Genomics Drop Off
The Omics Hub offers free shipping of samples to Eurofins Genomics. Please drop off ready-to-ship samples in a ziploc bag with the order confirmation printed inside and place them in the fridge labeled for Eurofins drop off in Lab 332. Please notify Taylor (tault1@utk.edu) when you plan to have samples or drop off the samples. Notification of samples for shipment is required by 2PM for same day shipping and samples may be dropped off until 4PM. No samples will be shipped on Fridays or the day before a holiday/university closure.
